Still not sure on the color scheme

Submitted by john on Fri, 2006-05-26 15:41.

I think maybe a black background and then go back to a color skyline......but Ill have to mess around with it a bit.

I am finally settling in the drupal as the main site though. Some of the links don't work well yet, Ill get em there over the weekend. Then maybe get gallery2 integrated and if it looks alright, Ill import all my pics from IDS.

New Site Engine?

Submitted by john on Fri, 2005-10-07 15:24.

So I think I am going to convert my site over to this new engine. Its a CMS called Drupal and so far I like it a quite a bit. Seems like a pretty decent piece(or pieces) of code, and Gallery2 plugs right in without much problem. It gets a little hinky iof you view too big of a pic, but I am still working out all the sttings so I think I can get around most of the bugs(not bugs, just me miss setting stuff I think).

If you are reading this site, then you prolly know my email. Shoot me your opinion.

JBOD writes "As reported at news.com, the makers of the popular security tool Nessus are closing its source code. Although it will will remain free as in beer, Nessus is dropping the GPL license for the upcoming version 3 of the software. The problem appears to be that Tenable Network Security (the company which primary author Renaud Deraison founded around Nessus) isn't making money because it's competition is simply repackaging their product. Deraison's writes "A number of companies are using the source code against us, by selling or renting appliances, thus exploiting a loophole in the GPL.

After we had strung the interior of the case with the heat sensors, the HTPC underwent another stress test. The fans started whining audibly as soon as it was turned on. The noise level remained constant at 60 decibels, obviously too loud for us. A look at the BIOS and the cause was quickly found: Incorrect settings for the system fan - the default was 100%. We could hear very clearly what that meant. The fans could be throttled back to just less than 50% without stopping the blades altogether. With a considerably quieter HTPC, we started our stress test from the top again.
